Fulham are hoping that the injury that kept full back Kenny Tete out of yesterday’s draw with Crystal Palace is not particularly serious.

Fulham head coach Marco Silva confirmed after the Selhurst Park stalemate that the Dutch international had suffered a groin strain during last weekend’s narrow victory over Luton Town. Tete’s injury issues meant that Timothy Catasgne switched from left back to right back and the home side’s defensive resolution was unaffected by the former Lyon defender’s absence.

Silva told his post-match press conference yeserday:

“I said before the match that he is injured [… it is] a small problem his groin in the last game against Luton. He didn’t work all the week, the first day he felt again the same. It’s nothing serious, really. I think he will come back quick, but he was not available for the match.”
