The French press believe that Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is ‘on the verge’ of joining Monaco.
Foot Mercato reports that the 25 year-old, who is in the final year of his current Craven Cottage contract, will replace Axel Disasi and has again rejected the chance to join Tottenham Hotspur. This story follows widespread reports that the former Manchester City academy graduate has already agreed personal terms with Monaco, although Foot Mercato can only claim that Adi Hütter’s side are ‘edging closer’ to a deal with the Cottagers on a fee.
Fulham gave short shrift to Monaco’s opening £4.2m offer for the ball-playing centre half, who is exploring his options as his Whites’ deal winds down after losing his place in Marco Silva’s starting line-up to Issa Diop last season. Tosin was not involved in Fulham’s final pre-season friendly – a 2-1 win over Hoffenheim yesterday – but the Cottagers are determined to recoup as high a fee for a man who has made more than a century of appearances for the club since signing from Manchester City in September 2020.
When at MC I thought at a young age he had class, time on the ball and read the game. I’m not sure he has really progressed so if we get a profit I’d be comfortable we could get a replacement to be a squad player which I assume he doesn’t want. Good servant over the last few years but not someone who pulled up trees
Yes,he is replaceable !!.Joe Roden from Spurs is available !!.
