Fulham have made a new bid for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to the Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg.
The Whites have been discussing a permanent move for the England international with their nearest neighbours for most of this summer and have already had two bids rejected. The 22 year-old, who has entered the last year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, does not future in new Blues boss Mauricio Pochettini’s plans and wants to move to Craven Cottage in this transfer window.
The Wandsworth-born winger is hopefully of reigniting his career under Marco Silva and Fulham are increasingly confident that a deal can be done after Chelsea dropped their valuation of their academy graduate from £10m to around £8m following extensive talks. Hudson-Odoi, who has scored sixteen goals in 126 senior appearances for Chelsea, struggled to replicate his early promise after suffering a serious achilles injury in 2019 and endured a disappointing loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen last season.
If we can agree a transfer fee of around £5-6 million plus reasonable personal terms he could be the star signing of the off season
Hopefully he’s better than Hudson Odoi
Personally I consider if he is going to cost 6 or 7 million it is a worthwhile gamble. He is young . He could be a complete flop or the signing of the season. In the current transfer market you do nob get a player of his age and experience for much under 10 million. We urgently need reinforcements so let not haggle over 1 million
Hurry up and get him signed Even at 10 million at his age he could be a great signing and a good future investment if Marco can work his magic.
This is someone who wants to play for us. Even at 8 million he is a worthwhile gamble
I don’t understand what is going on ! We want good players they are out there why the he’ll don’t we buy them instead of dithering and missing them. Hudson has already expressed his desire to join the whites so just buy him !
Demarie Gray is another ! Other clubs with less funds seem to buy great players for bargain prices. Pull your fingers out Mr Khan

If he does sign then Hudson needs to press the factory reset switch and start again. Given time I think he will be very useful.
His and Chelsea’s relationship now gone .. no trust either direction? His needs are for a confidence rebuild; A team that believes in his ability to give him game time; A managerial setup to re-ignite the passion and desire both with and from him?
Age, Skills, Investment profile – All tick the right boxes, could be the find of the season given the silly monies being banded about!
Form comes and goes but natural ability is always there plus he is young give
Marco him and he will keep our wingers on their toes.
