Fulham have made a new bid for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to the Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg.

The Whites have been discussing a permanent move for the England international with their nearest neighbours for most of this summer and have already had two bids rejected. The 22 year-old, who has entered the last year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, does not future in new Blues boss Mauricio Pochettini’s plans and wants to move to Craven Cottage in this transfer window.

The Wandsworth-born winger is hopefully of reigniting his career under Marco Silva and Fulham are increasingly confident that a deal can be done after Chelsea dropped their valuation of their academy graduate from £10m to around £8m following extensive talks. Hudson-Odoi, who has scored sixteen goals in 126 senior appearances for Chelsea, struggled to replicate his early promise after suffering a serious achilles injury in 2019 and endured a disappointing loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen last season.
