Fulham have turned down a £8.5m offer for defender Tosin Adarabioyo from Monaco, according to Sky Sports.

The former Manchester City centre back is keen on moving to the Ligue 1 side this summer and has been left out of the Fulham squad for the past fortnight as negotiations continued between the clubs over a possible permanent move. Monaco have improved their bid having had a £4m initial offer rejected last month – but Fulham are not willing to sell the ball-playing centre back on the cheap even though he has entered the last twelve months of his current Craven Cottage contract.

Tosin, who has made 107 first-appearances since signing for Fulham from Manchester City in September 2020, has told Fulham he does not intend to extend his stay with the Whites beyond next summer having been disappointed to lose his place to Issa Diop last season. He had been linked with Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur this summer, but would prefer to move to France.
