Fulham are preparing an offer for Bologna winger Riccardo Orsolini, according to reports from Italy this evening.

Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio latest story suggests that Fulham have opened negotiations with the I Rossoblù over a potential deal for the Italian international. Bologna have told the 26 year-old, who has made 139 appearances and scored 36 goals in six years at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, that he can leave the club this summer as he heads into the final year of his contract.

The versatile wide man, who can play on either flank, came through the ranks at his hometown club of Ascoli and has also played for Juventus and Atalanta. A star at youth level, where he scored five goals as Italy finished third in the 2017 under-20 World Cup, Orsolini scored twice in his two senior appearances for the Azurri against Estonia and Armenia in 2019.

Fulham, who signed the former Wolves winger Adama Traoré on Saturday, are still seeking attacking additions to Marco Silva’s squad before the end of the summer transfer window having been frustrated in their attempts to strike deals with Chelsea and Everton for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Demarai Gray.
