Fulham have been handed a home draw against Championship club Norwich City in the third round of the League Cup.

Marco Silva’s side were in the hat for tonight’s draw after beating Tottenham Hotspur on penalties after an entertaining 1-1 at Craven Cottage last night. The tie will be played during the week commencing Monday 25 September.

David Wagner’s Canaries are second in the Championship having made an unbeaten start to the new campaign, winning three and drawing one of their first four league fixtures. City reached the third round with a 1-0 win at Bristol City last night. Przemyslaw Placheta scored the only goal of the game at Ashton Gate.
