Young Fulham goalkeeper Michael Allen has moved to Leatherhead on a season-long loan deal, the club have confirmed this afternoon.
The teenager, who joined Fulham aged eight, signed a scholarship with the Whites in 2021 and has made thirty appearances for the under-18s and played five times at under-21 level. Allen will compete for the number one jersey with Serine Sanneh.
Manager Hayden Bird told Leatherhead’s official website:
“I’d like to thank Vic Bettinelli, Hayden Mullins, Nick Alford and Charlotte for helping us sign Mikey so quickly. In speaking to Vic, Mikey is very highly regarded at Craven Cottage. He will be a great addition to the squad and hopefully, playing for Leatherhead will help Mikey in his development. It will be an interesting battle between him and Serine.”
