Fulham centre back Tosin Adarabioyo is edging nearer to a transfer to Monaco, according to reports from France.

The 25 year-old defender, who has entered the final year of his contract at Craven Cottage, has rejected approaches from Tottenham in order to clear the path for move to Ligue 1. The former Manchester City trainee has quickly agreed terms with Monaco, according to Foot Mercato, who also claim that Les Rouge et Blanc are confident of striking a deal with Fulham by the weekend.

Monaco have identified Tosin, who has made 106 appearances for Fulham since arriving from City for £1.8m in October 2020, as their preferred replacement for the Chelsea-bound Axel Disasi but have yet to match the Whites’ valuation for their ball-playing centre back. Fulham rejected Monaco’s first offer of around £4.3m and are believed to be holding out for a fee of at least £10m.
