Fulham have turned down a second offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal for their striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to a report from the Athletic this afternoon.

The Whites rebuffed a £25.5m bid from Al-Hilal for the Serbian international on Wednesday and have rejected an improved offer – believed to be worth around £35m – for the 28 year-old. Sky Sports News are now reporting that Al-Hilal’s bid was worth less than £30m. The Cottagers’ continued position is that Mitrovic is not for sale but the Premier League side are braced for more approaches from the Public Investment Fund-backed outift.

Mitrovic, who has scored 111 goals in 204 games since moving to west London initially on loan in January 2018, is under contract at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2026.
