Tottenham are keeping tabs on Tosin Adarabioyo after the centre back told Fulham he won’t extend his contract at Craven Cottage.

The former Manchester City academy graduate is eager to explore a fresh opportunity having lost his first-team place at Fulham following the arrival of Issa Diop last summer. Fulham triggered a twelve-month extension to the 25 year-old’s contract last January, but talks over a longer-term deal have stalled. Tosin, who has made 103 appearances for the Whites, is apparently intrigued by the reported interest shown in him from Inter Milan and Rennes.

Spurs are beginning their summer rebuild under new boss Ange Postecoglu and Sky Sports suggest that Tosin fits the mould of centre half that the Australian is looking for. An offer doesn’t appear imminent, with Tottenham merely discussing whether to make a formal enquiry about the Fulham man’s availability. With their defender able to talk to foreign clubs on a pre-contract basis in January and Manchester City due 15% of any fee, the Whites will have consider reasonable offers.
