The Sun carries a story tonight claiming that Marco Silva is in talks to switch his agents – and links this to the continued interest from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.

The Fulham head coach has already rebuffed an approach from the Public Investment Fund-owned club but reports from other outlets suggested that they had returned with eyewatering offers. Silva’s preference remains to manage in the Premier League and he is understood to be happy at Craven Cottage and planning for a full season in charge in SW6.

The 45 year-old believes he has unfinished business in England following his sacking by Everton but he has yet to commit his long-term future to the Cottagers. Silva, who is about to enter the final twelve months of his current contract, has yet to sign the long-term deal that Fulham have offered – insisting that he will wait to see whether the club’s ambition in the transfer market matches his own.
