Fulham are among a host of European clubs keen on signing AZ Alkmaar winger Jesper Karlsson, according to reports from Holland.

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claimed this week that Lazio are lining up a move for the Swedish international, but Dutch website Voetbal Nieuws suggests that the Serie A side will face serious competition from a number of Premier League suitors. They claim that Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on the left winger’s availability, with previous reports linking Manchester United with a possible move.

Karlsson, who was named the Allsvenskan forward of the year in 2020, has scored 33 goals in 90 games for AZ and starred as the Dutch outfit finished fourth in the Eredivisie as well as reaching the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League. The Falkenburg-born wide man has three years to run on his current deal and the Dutch reports claim that AZ are looking for offers of around £17m for a player they signed for £2.25m three years ago.
