Teenage full-back Luc de Fougerolles has won Fulham’s scholar of the year award, the club have confirmed this evening.
The right back was a regular in Ali Melloul’s under-18 side and made several impressive appearances for Fulham’s under-21 outfit towards the end of the season alongside his studies for a BTEC in Sporting Excellence and Performance and A-Levels in Psychology and Business. de Fougerolles, who signed his first professional contract last summer, also set up a social action project with his academy team-mates.
Under 21 head coach Steve Wigley told Fulham’s official website:
“Luc had a fantastic season, which saw him progress from being a vital part in the Under-18s side before carrying the same influence in the Under-21s.”
