Fulham have confirmed in a statement issued this afternoon that injured duo Tim Ream and Andreas Pereira are set for surgery on their season-ending injuries suffered during Sunday’s defeat by Manchester City.
Brazilian international Pereira, who fractured his ankle in a challenge during the second half, has had surgery today and a timeframe for his return to competitive football will be forthcoming following the attacking midfielder’s successful rehabilitation from his operation.
Veteran defender Ream is set for surgery on his fractured right arm tomorrow and is expected to be fit for Fulham’s return to pre-season training in July.
Let’s hope that Andrea’s fracture is not too complicated as ankle breaks can be tricky to fix. Best wishes to both him and Tim. Come back soon.
Yes l started the season viewing from the disabled hammy end due to a broken ankle. I do hope that Andreas’s break is straight forward and wish him and Tim the best for their recoveries. Work hard lads and come back soon.
