Aleksandar Mitrovic’s header at Southampton – that clinched Fulham’s victory at St. Mary’s this afternoon – also lifted the Serbian striker to seventh in the club’s all-time goalscoring charts.

Mitrovic has now scored 109 goals in 203 games for the Whites and moves one ahead of Steve Earle. The 28 year-old is now fifteen goals behind Arthur Stevens, the Wandsworth-born outside right, who represented Fulham between 1941 and 1959 as well as providing machine gun support to the D-Day landings during the Second World War.
