Fulham have received a significant boost ahead of tomorrow night’s televised clash with Everton with the news that Dutch international Kenny Tete has shaken off his hamstring problem to be available for selection.

The right back has missed the last five fixtures after aggravating an injury that also troubled him last season, but Marco Silva confirmed during his afternoon’s pre-match press conference that Tete is fit to face the Toffees this weekend. The 27 year-old, who supplied three assists in his first seven top flight appearances before picking up a knock in training last month, could replace Bobby Decordova-Reid tomorrow.

“He’ll be involved in the squad list. I have to take the decision if he will start or not, but he will be involved in the squad list. Of course, that is good news for us. He started the season playing and started at a good level. Unfortunately for him, the last two seasons he always had some breaks during the season with some injuries.

“It’s something we are doing our best to try to avoid as much as we can because it’s not good for a player to have all these type of injuries. With Kenny, it’s happened too often, because the best thing we can do is to keep him always in the best physical condition we can, because he is an important player for us.”
