Marco Silva saluted Fulham’s spirit after the Whites came from behind to beat Leeds and increase the pressure on beleaguered boss Jesse Marsch.
The Fulham head coach was delighted with his side’s reaction to falling behind after Rodrigo’s far post header and described the fightback that saw the Londoners win 3-2 and move up to seventh in the Premier League table as unbelievable.
Silva told his post-match press conference:
“It was a great win for us. It was well deserved – over the 95 minutes, we were the best team on the pitch. We knew with our style, our quality and our philosophy that we would create chances.
To come back like we did is unbelievable from our players and they deserve all the credit. We believed in believed in ourselves, created a lot of chances and I think deserved the three points.”
Fulham proving again how team spirit makes the difference. Our boys are playing for each other and it shows. Give the boys confidence, some decent quality players and install the right values and we have Silva’s Fulham. The contrast with Parker is so stark. I loved his interview. “Back to work in the week and prepare for Everton”. What a leader
3-1 leads at both Forest and Leeds and concede in injury time, it takes the gloss off great away wins. Nether the less a win is a win and three more points.
Must ask Parker how many wins he achieved, during the whole season in charge? Oh yes, I think Silva has matched his meager tally after 12 games.
Yes 5 wins in 12 with Silva matches 5 wins in 38 under Parker
Silva has amazing leadership and inspirational qualities . He and Boa have an ability to turn players around from Mitro to Willian the list is long …
Mitro will score 20 goals by end of season .
