Fulham’s under 18s produced a sensational first-half display as they hammered Tottenham Hotspur 6-0 at Motspur Park this morning.

Ali Melloul’s men scored four goals in fourteen minutes to end the derby as a contest after an even opening half hour. Winger Terrell Works was brought down in the box and got to his feet to convert the subsequent spot-kick himself to put Fulham ahead. A minute later, midfielder Ollie Gofford made it 2-0 and Aaron Loupalo-Bi trebled the lead nine minutes before the break. The young forward grabbed his second goal in the first minute of stoppage time when he converted a cross from Works before Spurs finally got some respite as the half-time whistle sounded.

The visitors were much more competitive in the second 45 minutes, but Lopalo-Bi’s replacement – Welsh striker Callum Osmand scored twice at the death to give the scoreline a more resounding look. The Welsh under-17 international profited from another Works assist to make it six in the second minute of added time.

Fulham’s utter dominance of this London derby means that Melloul’s side have strung together three consecutive victories in all competitions, scoring fourteen goals in the process. The young Whites have moved up to sixth in the Premier League South table and will travel to second-placed Crystal Palace next Saturday for a serious test of their excellent recent form.
