Marco Silva has been rewarded for Fulham’s fine start to the new season with a nomination for the Premier League’s manager of the month award.

The Portuguese head coach saw his side beaten just once – by league leaders Arsenal – in their first five fixtures back in the top flight. He has successfully ensured that Whites make their Craven Cottage home a fortress, with Fulham picking up seven points from an available nine this month.

Silva is nominated alongside Pep Guardiola, Mikel Arteta, Graham Potter and Antonio Conte.
