Courageous central midfielder Josh King has shone throughout the academy age groups since joining the club as a youngster and it is no surprise to see him starring for the under 18s. King’s technical ability was a closely-guarded secret at Motspur Park until he captained England’s under 16s to a pair of outstanding victories over their Italian counterparts. Adept in operating as a holding midfielder, King’s creative potential has been unleashed this season as he has an outstanding eye for a pass and the ability to beat a man. The teenager made his under 18s debut in September 2022 at West Ham and got a taste of under-21 action against Leicester City earlier this season, when he scored a goal. Definitely one to watch closely.
