Classy central midfielder Josh King has shone throughout the academy age groups since joining the club as a youngster and it is no surprise to see him starring for the under 18s. King’s technical ability was a closely-guarded secret at Motspur Park until he captained England’s under 16s to a pair of outstanding victories over their Italian counterparts. Able to play in many midfield roles, King has flourished as a playmaker with the under 21s. After progressing through the age group sides and impressing in pre-season, the teenager made his senior debut as a substitute against Birmingham City in August 2024.
