Fulham are lining up a move for Paris Saint-Germain left back Layvin Kurzawa, according to a report in the Evening Standard this afternoon.

The Whites are considering bringing in cover at full back after Joe Bryan broke his hand in a freak accident just before the start of the season. Antonee Robinson has been outstanding in Fulham’s first three games, but the American international is currently Fulham’s only fit senior left back. The only other options would be Ziyad Larkeche, who has yet to feature for the under 21s this season because of his own injury problems, and eighteen year-old Stefan Parkes.

Kurzawa, who has won thirteen full international caps for France, came through the Monaco youth system, making his senior debut in 2010 and going on to play 96 games for the senior side, scoring eight goals. He helped Monaco win Ligue 2 in 2012/2013 before joining PSG in a £23m deal in 2015. The 29 year-old has won four league championships and sixteen domestic trophies with the Parisian giants, with whom he finished runners-up in the 2020 Champions’ League.
