If you need another Fulham fix following yesterday’s dramatic west London derby, then why not get down to Sutton United this afternoon and follow the fabulous Fulham Women, who start their league campaign at Gander Green Lane?

Steve Jaye’s side had a fantastic season last year – narrowly missing out on automatic promotion – and are aiming to go up this time afternoon. The Whites enjoyed a wonderful unbeaten pre-season and have strengthened with a number of new signings. The team is skippered by lifelong Fulham fan, Mary Southgate, who supporters might remember handing the Championship trophy over to Tom Cairney after the men’s 7-0 thrashing of Luton last season, and lifting it front of her friends at the Hammersmith End as the celebrations got going.

Fulham’s first league outing of the season is free to attend, with kick off at Sutton United’s VBS Stadium at 2pm. The club’s bar is open to all supporters from 1.30pm. The Fulham Supporters’ Trust have put together this guide to getting there.
