Israeli international Manor Solomon signed for Fulham on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk in July 2022 after FIFA introduced new regulations following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The winger made an impressive debut from the bench on the opening day of the season against Liverpool, setting up Aleksandar Mitrovic before the Serbian was brought down for a second half penalty, but was badly injured in a subsequent behind-closed-doors friendly. He scored his first Fulham goal in a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in February 2023 after coming off the bench and followed that with a late winner at Brighton as a substitute seven days later.
