Liverpool have put a £15m asking price on Fulham transfer target Neco Williams, according to reports this afternoon.

The attacking full back enjoyed an enormously successful loan spell at Craven Cottage in the second half of last season, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in fifteen appearances as Marco Silva’s side secured the Championship title. The 21 year-old is desperate for first team football to keep his place in Rob Page’s Wales side that has just qualified for the World Cup – and is believed to be very interested in making his move to London permanent.

Liverpool believe that Williams’ sparky displays for Wales, including at left wing-back in the most recent play-off fixtures, and his consistent excellence in the Championship mean that they can demand a high fee for his services. Fulham are eager to strengthen at right back ahead of their return to the top flight but the Whites could baulk at such a high valuation, with Ryan Fredericks already linked with a move back to SW6 as a free agent.
