Various reports in Spain have identified the Real Betis full back Álex Moreno as a strong Fulham transfer target.
The 28 year-old is the subject of serious interest across Europe after an outstanding campaign for Manuel Pelligrini’s side, scoring five goals and adding four assists in 30 La Liga appearances as Betis qualified for the Europa League.
AS assert that Fulham will table a bid of around £12.8m for Moreno, who came through the La Masia academy at Barcelona, and Betis would entertain a deal for the adventurous left-back – very much in the Marco Silva mould – as they seek to raise funds for some summer spending of their own, according to Diario de Sevilla. Moreno, who won the Copa del Roy with Los Verdiblancos last season, is under contract at the Estadio Benito Villamarin until the summer of 2025.
Sounds odd that out of all the positions we need to fill, we would spend 13m on a LB. Maybe package deal together with Carvalho?
Why is it still taking so long for us to get players to sign when other clubs seem to be getting deals done?
Transfer window isn’t officially open
I know that Bob but other clubs are putting deals together now and the players will be ready when the transfer window opens next week. All the players we are being linked to recently are either injury prone or to old.
Very few deals have been done in the Prem
How do you know we haven’t put anything together. Fulham never say anything until the deal is done. Relax
