Fulham will start their Premier League campaign at Craven Cottage against last season’s runners up Liverpool – after the domestic fixtures were announced this morning.

The meeting with Jurgen Klopp’s men on Saturday 6 August could mean an immediate return to his old stomping ground for Fulham academy product Fabio Carvalho, who is set to move to Anfield this summer. Despite being relegated from the top flight, the Whites took four points off Liverpool in 2020/21, following up a 1-1 draw at home with a win on Merseyside secured by Mario Lemina’s fine strike.

Marco Silva’s side travel to Wolves on Saturday 13 August before hosting local rivals Brentford the next weekend. Another London derby follows on 27 August, before Brighton head to Craven Cottage on 30 August. The Whites will travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on the final day of the season, scheduled for 28 May 2023.
