Fulham head coach Marco Silva has been fined £2,000 following his sending off at Bournemouth after accepting an FA charge of improper conduct – but he will not serve a touchline ban.

The Portuguese head coach was dismissed from the touchline after remonstrating with referee Graham Scott following his decision to award the Cherries’ a stoppage time penalty that cost Fulham all three points against their promotion rivals.

Separately, Fulham have been charged with ‘failing to control their players’ in the 95th minute of the 1-0 defeat by Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage last month. The home side were incensed at not being awarded a penalty and they have ten days to respond to the charge.
