Neeskens Kebano revelled in the joyous scenes that greeted Fulham’s promotion at Craven Cottage last night – and the winger is adamant that the Whites are well worth an immediate return to the Premier League.

The Congolese international, recalled to the starting line up by Marco Silva for last night’s 3-0 win over Preston North End, has been one of Fulham’s most consistent performers in a stunning campaign that has seen him establish himself as a regular on the left wing.

Kebano, who was carried off the field by delighted Fulham fans, told FFCTV after the final whistle:

“During the season, we have been brilliant. On the ball, off the ball – even the character in this time – we all deserved it. Honestly, we all deserved it. The hard work that put in this season, we just get what we deserve.

We could have done it like maybe three games ago! Tonight, it was better to do it with the fans at home. The fans were amazing. We are all together celebrating promotion.”

Whilst enjoying the celebrations, Kebano reiterated that Fulham want to finish the season by lifting the Championship trophy – and will be fully focused on Saturday’s reunion with former manager Scott Parker at Bournemouth.

“Our goal now will be to go and get the title. If we win at Bournemouth this weekend, we will be in a comfortable place to get the title.”
