Harry Wilson remains bitterly disappointed with his failure to head home the winner in stoppage time at Barnsley on Saturday – but is confident Fulham can go on to secure promotion back to the Premier League.
The Welsh winger scored a superb equaliser at Oakwell after Fulham had gone behind to Carlton Morris’ contentious penalty but somehow headed wide from Fabio Carvalho’s cross with the goal gaping. Wilson was still disappointed by that miss, but told the Athletic that it remains business as usual for Marco Silva’s side as they seek an immediate return to the top flight.
“It would be silly for us to show nerves now. We haven’t all season, we’ve just played our game, took one game at a time. If we were to change anything now it would be stupid because what we have done so far has put us in good stead.”
