Fulham pair Neco Williams and Aleksandar Mitrovic feature in the Sky Sports Championship team of the month, as selected by the analysts at Who Scored.
Williams has enjoyed a fabulous start to life on loan at Craven Cottage from Liverpool. The Welsh international has picked up his instinctive understanding with compatriot Harry Wilson down the right flank and supplied two assists for Mitrovic in his first two league outings. The right back has also helped Marco Silva’s side keep three clean sheets in five Championship matches – the latest of which came at Cardiff on Saturday.
Mitrovic was probably almost an automatic selection up front. The Serbian striker moved to 34 goals for the season with his winner in Wales at the weekend. That was one of six goals last month for Fulham’s number nine – more goals than anyone else in the Championship – and a measure of his confidence can be shown that he had 24 shots in January, also the most in the division.
