Fulham’s home fixture against Preston North End has been shifted back 24 hours following Sky’s decision to show the Whites in action at Derby County on Good Friday. The match against North End will now be played on Tuesday 19 April, kicking off at 7.45pm.
Sky Sports have also selected Fulham’s home game against Nottingham Forest for live television coverage – but this match will still be played on Tuesday 26 April at 7.45pm.
Absolute joke. No consideration for the fans.
All this because there are no trains on the West Coast line over the Easter weekend for Preston fans. The same line as 60k Liverpool and City fans would be using for the FA semi final, yet that’s still going ahead on the original date. Moving it till Tuesday night and there will be less Preston fans than there would have been on the Bank Holiday, trains or no trains. Poor, poor decision by the Club
