Former Fulham midfielder Kevin McDonald has joined Dundee United on a short-term deal this afternoon.

The former Scotland international impressed whilst training with United and is now ready to resume a playing career that was halted following his release from Fulham last summer as he recovered from a kidney transplant. The 33 year-old, who made 128 appearances in five years at Craven Cottage, is available to make his United debut against his first club Dundee in tonight’s derby.
