Kevin McDonald made an impressive return to professional football tonight – coming through 73 minutes as his new club Dundee United won 2-0 against Motherwell to move into fourth place in the Scottish Premiership.

The former Fulham midfielder, who signed a short-term deal at Tannadice Park after impressing whilst training with the club, hadn’t played since July 2020 having had a kidney transplant earlier this year.
