Manchester United are planning to capitalise on Liverpool’s failure to conclude a deal for Fulham playmaker Fabio Carvalho by making their own move to sign him this summer, according to the Daily Star.
United sent scouts to watch Carvalho at local rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup last month and the England international youth international was in fine form – opening the scoring for the Championship leaders at the Etihad Stadium. The Old Trafford outfit were so impressed that they have watched him at close quarters twice since with a view to striking a deal at the end of the season, when Carvalho’s current Craven Cottage contract expires.
The nineteen year-old was handed his senior debut by Scott Parker last season and scored on his first Premier League start against Southampton. Carvalho has scored eight goals in 23 appearances during a superb season for Marco Silva’s side, also creating eight further goals to attract interest from all across Europe.
I still don’t get it when United keep reinforcing other areas of the team and fail to acknowledge their weakest link, which is DM.
If we are going to lose Fabio we should sell him to Liverpool with a clause that we get to keep Neco Williams as part of the contract.
Thats s a call from previous person yes we have Williams as part of the deal this may already have been thought of. by Fulham but could not get the deal done in time good shout though
