Olly Johnson runs the rule over Fulham’s London derby win over Millwall at Craven Cottage last night.

Marek Rodak: A solid performance from Rodak making a couple of crucial saves from short range at 2-0, had one of them found the net it wouldn’t have been a comfortable end to the game. He commanded his area well from set pieces and balls into the box but he was poor with the ball at his feet tonight with a couple of shaky clearances. 7

Neco Williams: A first appearance at Craven Cottage for Williams and it wouldn’t have been exactly what he was hoping for on a personal level. There was a bright moment where he overlapped Wilson and his deflected cross found its way to Mitrovic to open the scoring but other than that he seemed to struggle, especially defensively. We were left exposed down the right a number of times and he was taken on far too easily whilst a suspect clearance and a loss of control both in the second half could easily have led to Millwall goals. The right idea was there at times but the execution rarely came off, I’m sure we can put that down to home debut nerves and we’ll see better performances in future. 4

Tosin Adarabioyo: It’s been a bit of a shaky patch for our defence and we were slightly lucky to keep a clean sheet yesterday, a simple ball over the top from a free-kick in Millwall’s own half eventually ended up at Afobe’s feet  after Tosin stopped tracking him, luckily Rodak was on hand to shut his shot down quickly. 6

Tim Ream: Ream was also responsible for gifting Millwall an opening. He was pulled towards Tosin, leaving a huge area free for Wallace to run into. Some simple communication could’ve solved this one. It was a fairly average display from our centre backs, nothing horrendous but also not particularly solid. 6

Antonee Robinson: It had seemed as though Robinson was finding a bit of form before the international break but that -17C game must’ve knocked it out of him. He seemed all over the place at times and couldn’t control the ball for love nor money giving it away countless times. After Bryan’s recent performances it perhaps seemed a little harsh to leave him out entirely. 3

Nathaniel Chalobah: A first league start since September and a chance to make an impression in the CDM role where the competition is tough with Seri back from AFCON and the reliable Reed having another good season. He made an excellent block in the first half on the edge of the area and was also there to unconventionally clear the ball after Rodak parried, denying Wallace a second crack from close range. He got stuck in defensively but struggled with his passing at times and he probably won’t be over the moon with his performance. 6

Fabio Carvalho: As much as I’d like to give him 1 for the rest of the season in an attempt to put off his suitors, he had another great game last night. He was all over the pitch, linking the play with intricate one-twos as he danced forward from left to right and right to left. He also added another assist to make it eight goal contributions in his last six games (four goals, four assists), a truly remarkable stat. 8

Tom Cairney: His reluctance to pull the trigger with his right foot always makes me laugh and there were a couple of occasions last night where that happened. Despite that he managed to work it onto his left foot and had a couple of decent chances which on another day would’ve found the back of the net and he’ll likely be disappointed not to have scored one yesterday in the end. It was still a great performance from the captain and like most people, I’m thoroughly  enjoying watching him week in week out after a tough period of injuries. 7

Harry Wilson: Things didn’t quite come off for Wilson yesterday, a number of nearly moments could’ve set up some very promising attacks and a curling left footed effort went just wide towards the end of the game. Despite that, he was as energetic as ever and was constantly trying to make things happen. 6

Neeskens Kebano: Kebano struggled to make the impact he has done throughout much of this season last night, he continued to twist and turn but struggled to get the better of the Millwall defence to create any meaningful opportunities. 6

Aleksandar Mitrovic: Last night Mitrovic became only the third Championship player to reach 30 goals in a season and remarkably he has 17 games left. After adding two goals before the hour mark we all wondered if tonight was the night he would level Toney’s tally of 31 last season but it wasn’t to be. His two finishes were as simple as they come but his positioning made that possible as it has done so many times this season. He also replicated his brilliant pass from the weekend, peeling away from the centre back to play a first time ball forward and wide to Wilson with his back to goal. This is definitely a training ground move and it’s great to see us pull it off twice in a row and also shows Mitrovic’s all round ability and threat. 8

Substitutes:

Bobby Decordova-Reid: It’s been good to see Bobby get a little more game time recently and a couple of goals in that period will do his confidence the world of good. It’s not only the goals though, his energy has been top class and he came into the game last night when we were on the back foot with Millwall pressing to make it 2-1. Ultimately it was his goal which made it 3-0 and ensured a comfortable finish to the game but before that he was getting involved in challenges and some good build up play. The goal was a simple tap in only a couple of yards out but his anticipation and timing to stay onside shouldn’t go unrecognised. 7

Harrison Reed: This was a change I was calling for although I assumed it would’ve been Chalobah to give way instead of Cairney. The gaps were opening up in the middle of the park and we were starting to be overrun, Reed came in and sured up the central area at a crucial point in the game. 7

Rodrigo Muniz: Came on for Mitrovic in the 90th minute. N/A
