Cyrus Christie scored the crucial clinching goal tonight as Swansea City won 2-0 at West Bromwich Albion.

The Republic of Ireland international, enjoying an impressive loan spell in south Wales, drilled in his second goal of the season from Hannes Wolf’s with five minutes left to seal all three points for Russell Martin’s men. Christie’s predatory strike followed Joel Piroe’s opener on 79 minutes to extend Steve Bruce’s dismal start since succeeding Valerien Ismael at the Hawthorns.

This win was Swansea’s first away victory since beating Barnsley on November 24th.
