Club Brugge are in talks with Fulham about a deal to sign Denis Odoi, according to reports from Belgium this afternoon.

The 33 year-old utility man has featured extensively for the Championship league leaders this season, largely deputising at right back for the injured Kenny Tete. Odoi, who filled that role again during Saturday’s draw with Blackpool, has made 177 appearances – scoring seven goals – since moving to Craven Cottage from Lokeren in July 2016.

The Belgian international’s current contract expires at the end of the season and Odoi has been regularly linked with a return to his homeland. The likeable defender’s departure would leave Fulham short of senior right backs with Tete doubtful for the FA Cup trip to Manchester City next weekend after he injured his groin in the win at Stoke earlier this month.
