Colchester United are keen to extend Fulham winger Sylvester Jasper’s loan until the end of the season, manager Hayden Mullins has confirmed this morning.

The 20 year-old has scored three goals in twenty appearances for the U’s since making the move to Essex on loan initially until January. Mullins revealed that the League Two have held discussions with Jasper’s parent club about keeping hold of the promising young winger until the end of the season and hopes that a deal can be done shortly. Jasper won international recognition earlier this year as a result of his impressive performances with Colchester – winning his first caps for Bulgaria’s under 21 side.

He has made three senior appearances for Fulham and is under contract at Craven Cottage until 2023.
