Fulham’s Boxing Day game against Birmingham City has been postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak in the Blues camp.
The number of positive cases in Birmingham’s first team squad has surpassed the level required in the EFL protocols for a postponed – and both clubs will now work with the EFL to rearrange the fixture when possible. Fulham’s next fixture, at Reading on December 29, is also in doubt due to the Royals currently managing a Covid outbreak that saw their Boxing Day game at Peterborough postponed.
