Fulham defender Tim Ream has withdrawn from the United States international squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers due to ‘family reasons’.
American national team coach Gregg Berhalter has replaced Ream with the Nashville defender Walker Zimmerman. The 33 centre-half, who has captained Fulham in the absence of club skipper Tom Cairney this season, has made five national team appearances this year and enjoyed an outstanding start to his club campaign with the Whites sitting fourth in the Championship table ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Coventry.
Hope his Family’s ok. Don’t like international Football , with club football so good now, and being a cosmopolitan world. And players having more than one country to choose from sometimes four it’s a bit of a joke, would not give it second fought if it was scrapped. All I worry about is Fulham players coming back ok
Agree 100%
Why do the modern players need so much pampering? They really are spoilt these days. So many breaks for international matches, loads of them meaning nothing.
