Wales boss Robert Page says Harry Wilson suffered from blurred vision and was substituted as a precaution during tonight’s 0-0 draw with Estonia.

The Fulham winger collided with Estonian goalkeeper Karl Hein after trying to get on the end of a cross from Gareth Bale. Wilson did try to continue afterwards, but after a few minutes, he sat on the turf and was examined by the Welsh medical staff before leaving the action – and, speaking after the final whistle, Page said the correct concussion protocols were followed.

“He’s OK. Protocols are in place for a head injury, he was fully aware of that. He didn’t feel right and he had to come off. It was blurred vision, I think. He’s been assessed and things will be sorted out for him before he goes back to his club. The medical team made him fully aware (of his situation), he wasn’t comfortable and he had to come off.”
