Flamego forward Rodrigo Muniz will complete his quarantine in Spain ahead of his impending transfer to Fulham, according to Brazilian journalist Vene Casagrande.

The 20 year-old, who has agreed a four year contract at Craven Cottage, is expected to leave Brazil this weekend and his representatives are awaiting final confirmation of when he can fly to England following his period of quarantine in Europe. His departure from Flamengo was delayed when he tested positive for coronavirus earlier in the month. Muniz has recently been undertaking his own individual programme of training at Fulham’s request – so as not to risk a contact injury. Flamengo and Fulham have reportedly agreed a fee of around £6.8m – split into two equal payments – for Muniz, who Marco Silva admitted he has been tracking for a long time.
