Fulham are attempting to renegotiate the terms of their deal to sign Rodridgo Muniz from Flamengo, according to reports from Brazil tonight.

The two clubs had agreed a deal that would see the Whites pay Flamengo £6.8m for the 20 year-old forward on Thursday afternoon, with half the fee up front and the remainder to be paid in 2022. The Brazilian outfit would be left with a twenty per cent sell-on clause.

With the deal likely to be delayed after Muniz tested posted for coronavirus yesterday, Brazilian journalist Venê Casagrande reports tonight that Fulham have sought to re-open discussions after learning that Flamengo had agreed to sell the forward to Middlesbrough for £5.1m with a sell-on clause. It is understood that the two clubs will talk again on Monday.
