Fabio Carvalho has rejected Fulham’s offer of a new contract as he considers offers from a host of Premier League clubs, according to the Mail on Sunday.

The teenager starred towards the tail end of last season as he was introduced to the senior side with the Whites battling against the drop. Having made his first team debut against Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup, Carvalho got his Premier League bow as a substitute at Stamford Bridge before scoring on his first senior start at Southampton. He made six appearances in total and has impressed new manager Marco Silva during pre-season.

Carvalho, who scored the winner in last weekend’s final friendly win over Charlton, is expected to start this afternoon’s Championship opener against Middlesbrough in the absence of club captain Tom Cairney. Fulham are desperate to keep the 18 year-old at Craven Cottage as he enters the final year of his current contract but their first attempt at tying the talented playmaker to a longer deal failed.

Several sides are looking at the Portuguese-born attacking midfielder, including West Ham, Leeds United, Norwich City and Porto.
