Flamengo have turned down Fulham’s loan offer for their young forward Rodrigo Muniz, according to reports from Brazil tonight.
The Championship club tabled a loan offer with an option to buy – believed to be in the region of £7.7m – for the twenty year-old striker, who was reportedly interested in moving to London after his representatives had held talks with new Fulham boss Marco Silva. But Flamengo are apparently uninterested in negotiating a loan move for their young star and have rejected the approach.
It remains to be seen whether the Whites will return again with an improved offer – or make an attempt to sign Muniz on a permanent basis.
That’s unfortunate. I hope negotiations are still going on and that we can get a agreement soon.
If Silva really wants this kid, let’s go and buy him outright. There’s plenty of fringe players we can offload to finance the deal.
I agree if Silva wants him we should buy him before some other club does.
Buy him,the khans ain’t that tight are they???
This lad is clearly wanted by the new boss – he can get himself on the telly and help promote us in the process – a win win all round – get the cheque book out Tony ffs!
Champions by Easter – football’s coming home – COYW!!!
