Young Fulham forward Timmy Abraham is on trial at Cheltenham Town.

The 20 year-old, who spent last season on loan with Plymouth Argyle and Raith Rovers, is expected to play in Cheltenham’s pre-season friendly against Evesham United on Tuesday night.

Abraham, the younger brother of Chelsea striker Tammy, has struggled to progress through the ranks at Motspur Park after signing from Charlton Athletic in 2017. He scored twice in last season’s EFL Trophy but his loan spells away from Craven Cottage weren’t particularly successful. He made just seven senior appearances for League One Plymouth and played eight times for Raith Rovers – all without scoring a goal.

Cheltenham are seeking striking options to supplement their attack ahead of the new League One season.
