Middlesbrough have begun discussions with Fulham over a potential loan move for forward Aboubakar Kamara, according to reports this afternoon.
Football Insider suggests that the French forward, who has made just eleven league appearances this summer for the Whites this term, could move to the Riverside stadium for the remainder of the season. Kamara’s only starts under Scott Parker this year have come in the cup competitions – he scored in the League Cup against Sheffield Wednesday and started the FA Cup fourth round exit at the hands of Burnley last month.
Neil Warnock’s side are gunning for the Championship play-offs after drawing with league leaders Norwich City at the weekend and already have Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli on their books. Kamara made 25 appearances as Fulham won promotion via the Championship play-offs last season, scoring four goals and providing four further assists.
I thought the potential signing of Maja ( or any Striker really) was to increase our very limited options/numbers, not one in one out surely.
This Is a bad move. AK47 on his day can be a match winner even if coming on as a sub for the last 15 minutes. It give Scotty an option. We want to sign strikers not send them out on loan.
Might have something to do with maximum squad size.
Hopefully he’s going played about one good game since arriving at Fulham
