Securing the promising Tosin Adarabioyo from Manchester City for a mere £1.5m still seems like one of the best bargains in Fulham’s recent history. The tall and composed centre back formed a fine partnership with Joachim Andersen that helped solidify a very leaky back four and, although it proved unsuccessful in keeping the Whites up, Adarabioyo could be very pleased with his first taste of Premier League football.

The likeable defender stayed with Fulham and shone as Marco Silva’s side surged to the Championship title, striking up a ball-playing partnership with veteran Tim Ream at the heart of the back four. The Manchester-born man has been less of a regular since the Whites have impressed on their return to the top flight but certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
