Danish defender Joachim Andersen was a real revelation during his loan spell from Olympique Lyonnais, stabilising a previously shambolic Fulham back four by forging a fine partnership with fellow deadline day signing Tosin Adarabioyo. Andersen’s impact was illustrated by the way he graduated to captaining the side after just a weeks at the club and his positioning and reading of the game was second to none. Andersen only lacks the yard of pace necessary to flourish at the top level, but he was a linchpin of a much improved Fulham rearguard and it is no surprise to see him shining in the Premier League with Crystal Palace at present.
